    Check out Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver.  She wrote about her family growing their own food and buying locally for one year.  I listened to the audio version of this from the library.  It is a great book.

    Thanks Amy. I have heard of that one, but needed a reminder. I like the idea of the audio book.. was it CD or cassette?

    They have it in CD or Audio file.  It is a fun book to listen to.  The authors read their own sections in the book.
